Cosgrove Care is proud to present this year we are celebrating our sapphire anniversary!
We would like to take a moment to thank everyone for their generous support which allows us to continue providing the great work and care for our local community! We’ve got plenty planned this year to celebrate this major milestone, including a fun-filled family day for all ages, an afternoon tea with some fantastic live jazz performed by the Rose Room, and for those who enjoy the swinging sixties we’ve got an exciting retro themed ball coming up later in the year. Please stay tuned for more information and announcements about these events in the coming weeks, if you’d like to express interest in any of these events feel free to get in touch with fundraising@cosgrovecare.org.uk.
We would also like to take the opportunity to announce this year we will be launching some exciting Cosgrove themed merchandise for our supporters, including some items themed around our Sapphire Anniversary. These items will be launched for purchase on the Cosgrove Care website later this year.
For 65 years we’ve been proud to do our part of our local community, providing care to those who need it and staying true to our values and mission. “To allow the people we support the opportunity to live the lives they choose”, a mission statement we hold true to today and the vision Carrie Hill shared when she reached out to Dr. I K Cosgrove in 1960, when she realised the challenges faced by families and children with learning disabilities in the Jewish Community. From there the organisation has grown and now offers support to everyone from children to adults of all ages. If you would like to read the history of Carrie Hill and the founding of Cosgrove Care please follow the link here.
Respect, integrity, excellence and compassion these values are at the heart of what we do and without the invaluable support of the individuals in our community it simply wouldn’t be possible to continue, so from everyone at Cosgrove Care we want to say thank you!
